RALPH

Ralph sprints when he runs! He is very active and so excitable, He loves his runs around the beach and parks and listens very well - he's great! Ralphie was so sad and had health issues when we got him, but he's great now - one of the family! Here's a picture of him with his cousin, Lucy.

RED
RED

Even though Walter (originally known as Red) spent the 1st 1.5 years in a kennel, he has learned to be a complete & total snugglebug. It was rough going the 1st few days, but little by little he has learned his place in our hearts. He sleeps in the bed always needing to be cuddled up next to us or his brother Baxter. I am so grateful to the people at Tristate that brought this little guy into our lives!

RAVEN

We got Raven in March from the TriState Rescue. She is such an adorable and loving girl, however a true Bassett Hound, very stubborn. She enjoys going out for walks and will even stop at times, stretch out on people's lawns or sidewalks and roll over, back and forth, I'm guessing to scratch or massage her back. Then she looks at you with those droopy eyes and says "yeah, what you want". And then gets up and continues her walk when she ready or after some gentle coaxing. We have had Miss Raven now for almost 10 months and have had some serious medical issues; but so far she has endured and we pray that she hangs in there so we can continue to enjoy and love her.

RUPERT
RUPERT

Tucker (formerly Rupert) is a wonderful addition to our family! He is so gentle! Loves to play with toys and cuddle. He is a couch potato! Always belly-up in case someone wants to give a chest rub.
Millie, our 4-year-old basset, loves her new friend.

RILEY

In the year prior to adopting Riley, we lost both our girls - a bloodhound and a cat. Needless to say, there was a hole in our hearts that needed filled - enter Riley! Riley has been everything we could have hoped for and more. She is a loving, sweet, playful, and ORNERY little girl. She loves doing whatever we are doing (and maybe a snack too) and is just happy and content to be with us always...the feeling is mutual. We are so grateful to Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue for giving us the opportunity to add Riley into our (now) complete family!
