DUKE
DUKE

We just adopted Duke December 30th 2016. TSBHR was very helpful in finding us a great match with our requests. We have an English Bulldog and really wanted to find him a friend with similar disposition as him. Well so far TSBHR has exceeded our expectations. While Duke is a little more active than our Bulldog (didn't take much) he is very very friendly. Duke is also very intelligent and is adjusting well in his new home very quickly. A great dog and perfect fit for our family. We cant thank TSBHR enough for all they have done.

DEXTER

It's been 2 years since we adopted Dexter courtesy of TSBHR. His former family was moving to Florida and could only take 2 of their 8 dogs with them so they were surrendering 6 Basset Hounds. We had recently lost our beloved Basset, Sam, who was 16 at the time of his passing. I kept looking at all the dogs available for adoption on the TSBHR website and, after 7 dog-less weeks, we succeeded in welcoming Dexter into our home. He brought some "baggage" with him but, that just endears him to us even more and we have never had any buyers remorse!

DROOPY

Thank You to Tri-State Bassett Hound Rescue for bringing Duke (formerly Droopy) into our lives at a time when we had just lost our young beloved basset hound Sir Sherlock Holmes. Duke has filled our void with love, joy, and happiness. Duke is a very energetic and funny dog with a lovable personality.

DAFFY
DAFFY

Daisy (formerly Daffy) is the sweetest dog - we have given her a "new chance" at life. She is now in a loving home and she is best buddies with my other basset hound, Deuce. Steve, Lisa and Kathy were instrumental in making this happen for me and my family. We love Daisy with all of our heart!

DROOPY

We are happy to have a new family member we named Fred. Things we didn't know about Fred is he chases rabbits, the couch is his and he has made a spot on the bed his own. Could we spoil him any more? Here are a few pictures of Fred an Lloyd spending time together. Fred is a bit spoiled riding in the trailer. Thank you Tri-state and all the volunteers who help with the rescue. Without the work you do we wouldn't have this happy addition to our family.
