DAISY
DAISY "MIDNIGHT"

Thank you so very much to the Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue. And the driver Miss Cathy for delivering our new family member (now Grace) to us so late at "midnight." She is awesome and made her at home quickly. Thanks again and see you all at the Olympics and Waddle

DUKE

We adopted Duke from TSBHR in April 2019. We have him nearly 2 years now. He was very quiet, thin, needed potty training and a bit timid around our other 2 basset boys - Diesel and Gus. He was also heartworm positive. He no longer uses the living room as his bathroom, he runs and plays hard with his brothers, has gained weight, found his voice and learned how to howl, and after much testing and treatment is heartworm free! He is happy and finally found his furever home. We love this guy so much! He was a great addition to our family. He will be 5 years old and his brothers will be 4 at the end of January (their birthdays are only a few days apart). Thank you TSBHR for matching Duke with our family! Enjoy our photos:

DOLLY

Dolly is a real doll. Everyone that has met her just adores her! We love to snuggle with her.

Dolly is very quiet—the few times she has barked, it’s been dainty, lady-like barks. She likes walks, trying to chase bunnies, her nylon bone, giving kisses, getting belly rubs and snuggling on the couch. She very athletic. Dolly will sit and give her paw for a treat. She has such a funny personality!

DOLLY

Dolly is doing great! She's been living in Albany for almost two years now and has adapted perfectly to apartment life. She loves hiking around the Capital Region during the weekends and enjoys visiting the dog park during lunch time. She's become quite the model (@DollyANTM) on Instagram) and frequently can be found getting her picture taken by customers at various patio eateries. Last Halloween, she placed second in a local costume contest as Georgie from IT and continues to be thankful for Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue's continued work!

DUDLEY
DUDLEY

We adopted Dudley a cold weekend in January of this year. His foster Liz was kind enough to bring him to our home since he only lived about 45 minutes from us. It was definitely love at first sight for my six year old son, husband and myself. Having already had two basset hounds before Dudley we were very familiar with the breed. The first 3 1/2 weeks were exhausting because poor Dudley had anxiety pretty bad and he had just lost his owner who had fallen ill suddenly then was in foster then with us so the poor guy was so scared, but remained so loving and affectionate with us. A month in, things just clicked! Between our vets helping us Tri-State checking in with us things just feel in to place. He is hysterical! already a hit in the neighborhood with everyone, he LOVES kids, people, animals etc. He is great with commands, loves his walks and absolutely LOVES our son to pieces and our son LOVES him to pieces. He reminds us of our other bassets a lot. We look forward to spoiling him the same way we did our Otis and Sadie and want to thank Tri-State for their help in finding Dudley and for keeping in touch with us through the beginning stages of our adoption.
